About Gorham EMS

Gorham Emergency Medical Services (GEMS) proudly protects and serves 3,600 people living in an area of 400 square miles in New Hampshire's White Mountain Region.  Gorham EMS is a municipal service funded by the taxpayers of the Town of Gorham, NH providing emergency medical services to the towns of Gorham, Shelburne, Randolph, Pinkham's Grant, Green's Grant, and Martin's Location.   In addition to 911 service, we provide emergency and non emergency transfers out of our local hospital.  GEMS has three full time staff members, a Director , Assistant Director, and Operations Manager plus a staff of highly motivated, dedicated and caring volunteers.   Gorham EMS is dispatched by the Town of Gorham Emergency Communications Service co-located with the Gorham Town Hall and Police Department. 

Gorham EMS operates out of 1 station on Main Street in Gorham, NH.  GEMS is co-located with Gorham Fire Department.  In the Spring of 1999 an addition to the building was completed and now houses the EMS offices and Training Room as well as the Fire Chief's office.
